According to LA County public health officials hospitalizations have continued to decline since peaking numbers earlier this month. For example, there were 5,398 COVID-19 patients in L.A. County hospitals on Saturday which is a decrease of about 26% from two weeks before when there were 7,322 patients. And although California officials lifted regional coronavirus stay-at-home orders, we are still ordered to continue to wear masks, practice social distancing and avoid gathering with people.
Eligible people for the vaccine include front-line healthcare workers, residents and staff at long-term care facilities and country residents age 65 and older.
