LA Stay-At-Home Orders Extended for Another 3 Months

Our readers and clients may be wondering how we will continue operating business in light of this past week’s news. Los Angeles County has recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths in California.

County public health director Dr. Barbara Ferrer announced at the Board of Supervisors meeting last Tuesday (5/12/20) that stay-at-home orders will be extended with “all certainty” for at least another 3 months, unless there are any major breakthroughs combating the virus.

The director said that in order for L.A. County to reopen we will needs three things: Therapeutic medicines, vaccinations and testing you can do at home. Ferrer said more stringent restrictions would pertain “until we have all three of the possibilities or even one or two of them.”

In the meantime, our office in Wilmington will continue to remain open from 9am-6pm Monday through Saturday.

We strongly urge our clients and those inquiring for insurance to please make payments, policy changes or get a quote online or by phone 1-310-835-3373.
